Background and Aims: During vascular calcification (VC), a cardiovascular complication of atherosclerosis, smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) undergo an osteogenic switch secrete heterogeneous population extracellular vesicles (EVs) involved in inflammation oxidative stress. The objective our study is to determine the role mechanism action EVs propagation stress during VC.
